The famous Premier Grand Cru Saint Emilion Chateau Canon is situated on top of the Saint Emilion limestone plateau.The 82 acre vineyard of Chateau Canon is planted to 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc. There have been numerous great vintages made at Chateau Canon over the years and 2010 is definitely one of them! The blend is 75% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Francin this 2010.The Wine Advocate scored this 96+ saying “Deep garnet colored, the 2010 Canon features wonderfully expressive notes of dried mulberries, stewed plums and baked black cherries with hints of mocha, bay leaves and fallen leaves.
