Description
The family run Chateau Grand Antoine is located in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers. Separated from Cessac by the stream which flows into the Dordogne at Saint-Jean de Blaignac. The village has an undulating landscape and a wide variety of trees. Patrick Mers and Daniel Barrat have owned the vineyard for around twenty years. This wine is 100% Sauvignon Blanc. Grapes are destemmed and crushed with the some skin contact for part of the crop followed by pressing. The must is then cold settled before alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature using selected yeasts. The wine then aged on the fine lees for added body and complexity. This wine received a Gold Medal in the 2020 Paris Wine Competition.Bright and refreshingly dry, this white shows notes of lemon/lime, grapefruit and herbal nuance with a pleasing mouthfeel and a lingering finish. 750 ml
