A Previous Wine Enthusiast Magazine Top 100 selection, Chateau Lagrezette is an historic estate dating back 500 years. Located in France’s Cahors region, which is the birthplace of the Malbec grape variety. Restored to prominence over the last three decades by Alain Dominique Perrin, the cellars and equipment are all state-of-the-art. Super Star consultant Michel Rolland oversees the winemaking to turn out award winning Malbec-based reds with true expression. This is the signature wine of the estate, 87% Malbec, 12% Merlot, 1% Tannat, sourced from 20 and 30-year-old vines on the second and third terraces above the Lot River. Soils are clay and limestone with a foundation of limestone.
