Here is a stunning value Saint Emilion Grand Cru. Château Petit Mangot is the pride of the Descamps family with four generations of winemaking knowledge. Located in Saint Etienne de Lisse, to the east of Saint Emilion, on south-facing plateaus and hillsides with clay-limestone soils overlooking the Dordogne Valley, and extending from the hillsides of Saint Emilion.The vineyard is 30 acres farmed sustainably and planted 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. They practice green harvesting and leaf stripping to reduce yields. At the winery, grapes are sorted by hand with plot-by-plot selection.
