Domaine la Florane is a distinctive estate, all of the vines are farmed biodynamically with great respect for terroir. The influences of the fauna, flora and stars give the wines their own identity. Their grapes are flavorsome, aromatic and expressive! Vineyard soils are tended by tilling or by sowing flowering grasses; and are fed each year with a compost of local organic-certified ingredients. The life in the soils keeps the vines healthy and productive.This wine is a blend of 50% Grenache and 50% Syrah sourced from vineyards at 1300 feet with rocky, galete covered soil.The destemmed grapes undergo short vatting at low temperature, just as they should be.
