Here is the flagship wine from Feudi San Gregorio aged to an ideal drinking perfection.Feudi di San Gregorio was established in 1986 in Sorbo Serpico, a tiny village in Campania’s Irpinia region, near Mount Vesuvius, by the Capaldo and Ercolino families from Irpinia. This highly acclaimed winery Encourages us to rediscover the identity of Mediterranean flavors through indigenous grapes that reach their full potential with their modern winemaking approach.Serpico is a 100% Aglianico wine from their historic “Dal Re” vineyard in deep soil originally from volcanic ash. Manual harvesting starts in mid-late October and lasts until early November. After pressing, a 10 day maceratioin on the skins and alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel for 10 days.
