Mount Veeder is distinguished among Napa’s mountain districts for having the highest elevation, coolest growing season and geologically diverse soils. Hess Collection Mount Veeder Cab is an expression of the unique mountain climate it comes from, sourced entirely from Hess’ Veeder Hills Vineyard. The elevation of this vineyard ranges from 600-1,120 feet. This 2019 Cab is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 17% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot, aged 22 months in 80% new French oak barrels.James Suckling scored this 92 points saying “A very soft and friendly red with plum and blackberry character.
