Tasting Notes: Each of the J. Bucher Pinots speaks with a voice of its own, and this one does so with a bit more volume right from the first. It is the ripest and most out-and-out succulent member of its family with a slightly savory twist to its articulate, very ample black cherry fruit and, while a comparatively mouth-filling wine, it never threatens to be too big or too ripe for its own good. It is a Pinot Noir that will please when paired with somewhat richer dishes in the short term, but we see room for positive growth should one opt to lay it away for another three or four years. 93 Points, Blue Lifestyle 91 Points, JebDunnuck. com 91 Points, Connoisseurs’ Guide to California Wine Final Blend: 100% Pinot Noir Case Production: Only 158 cases produced Hold Time: Enjoy now or hold up to 3 years Alcohol by Volume: 14.7% Cheers to another unique wine club find!
