The Domaine Jean Chartron farms 35 acres in Puligny-Montrachet and neighboring communes. The Domaine is celebrated for its excellent white wines all from vineyards in the Cote D’Or. This Santenay white is 100% Chardonnay sourced from a single vineyard with 40-year-old vines.Vinous Media said “The 2017 Santenay Champ Perrier Blanc comprises of six barrels this year, one new and the rest used. It has a slightly sullen bouquet at first, without the brightness shown by the Rully Montmarins that precedes it. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, smooth in texture with touches of nougat and just a brushing of toffee apple towards the finish. I would like a little more tension to develop, so afford this a year in bottle.” Limited!! 750 ml
