Chateau Lassegue is the stunning St. Emilion property purchased by the Jackson Family who made it one of the region’s top performers. With Winemaker Pierre Seillan (also of Verite), the Lassegue team turns out exceptional right bank Bordeaux every vintage. Located on the Côte de Saint-Émilion, the vineyards of Chateau Lassegue are blessed with both extraordinary soils and an ideal south/south-west exposition to the sun. In discovering the unique micro-crus of the property, Pierre Seillan realized he could produce more than one wine to showcase the diversity of the estate.Grapes for this 2019 come from estate vines averaging 50-60 years of age. The blend is 70% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was aged 12 months in French oak barrels. Les Cadrans de Lassegue, the estate’s second label, is refined and elegant, a beautiful and perfect expression of its fruit. 750 ml
