Winemaker for Booker Vineyards, Eric Jensen launched My Favorite Neighbor in tribute to winemaker Stephan Asseo of L’Aventure Winery who was his neighbor and helped make him the winemaker he is today. The Westside Hills of Paso Robles are clay soil vineyards amazingly similar to those found in Napa and Bordeaux. And these special sites are farmed meticulously by the farmers who have become his Favorite Neighbors. With their dedication to the land, they are able to craft world-class wine without any shortcuts or compromises. This wine is named for his parents, Harvey and Harriet, and this 2019 is the latest release. Jeb Dunnuck scored this 94 points saying “As to the reds, the 2019 Harvey and Harriet can be thought of as the more approachable, lush red in the lineup, and it always seems more black fruit-driven than the straight Cabernet Sauvignon.
