The Renieri estate is located in the southern part of Montalcino on high altitude slopes. Owner/Winemaker Marco Bacci puts intense focus on his vineyards to produce the best possible fruit. His 70 acres of vines face southeast to southwest at around 1,200 above sea level. These high-altitude vines are planted in uniquely diverse, iron-rich soil that’s rare for this region.
