Description
A rare find! Here’s a Cab sourced from a winery whose Cabernets sell regularly for $100 and up. Located in Calistoga (home to superstar Cab producer Chateau Montelena) the vines average over 20 years of age and the wine was fermented and extracted slowly, then aged in French oak barrels. The bad news is we can’t name that winery (or we’d have to charge the afformentioned $100 and up).The good news is celebrated Sommelier, Martin Sheehan-Stross tasted and reviewed this gem with flying colors! He scored it 96 points saying “Already decadent and luxurious, this young Cabernet shows plenty of layered red and black fruit. The tannins are incredibly fine grained. The oak is an important component, adding a great sweet spice element, but does not overwhelm this impressive wine.”The additional good news is that you can grab this decadent, layered Napa Cab for a for less than half of what it would normally sell for! Get it now while you can! 750 ml
