Arcanum is the pinnacle of the estate’s offerings. Based on Cabernet Franc, the true signature of the estate, it has been sourced over the years primarily from the Apparita and Belvedere blocks of Cabernet Franc. We are proud to introduce the 2016 Arcanum, the first vintage composed of 100% Cabernet Franc from different vineyard blocks at the estate. Particularly 12 blocks – each one with superb exposure on sandy clay soils – excel every year producing the finest expressions of the variety. Arcanum is built to age remarkably yet is drinkable young, offering aromas of violets, roses and raspberries, with long and delicate spice notes; it is a wine that is seductive yet subtle.This 2016 is 100% Cabernet Franc, Founding Winemaker Pierre Seillan is from Saint Emilion and he knows this grape variety intimately.
