Here’s a zesty red blend sourced from one of favorite estates in Lodi. The Lodi Appellation has a classic Mediterranean climate featuring warm days and cool evenings. Situated 100 miles directly east of the San Francisco Bay at the edge of the San Joaquin/Sacramento River Delta, cool “delta breezes” provide the region with a reliable, natural air conditioning throughout the growing season. The family owned E2 winery, where the estate grown fruit is sourced are vineyardists and winemakers for the last 83 years, with a rich in history, dating back to the California gold rush. This Big Red has a clever twist on the label. Although the exact varietal components and quantities do not appear there if you shine a black light on the back label, they are revealed to you.
