Description
Val di Suga estate is comprised of three vineyards with a total of 132 acres, all planted with Sangiovese Grosso. Three different exposures and geological features bring grapes that are unique interpretations of Sangiovese. The Val di Suga Brunello is a blend of grapes from these three vineyards produced in their modern winery but with traditional methods. The grapes from the three vineyards are fermented separately at controlled temperature, macerating on the skins for 20-25 days. The wine ages for 24 months in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels and 12 months in concrete tanks before spending at least 12 months in the bottle. The Wine Advocate scored this 94 points saying “This is a very well balanced Brunello with sharp and classic lines.
